Room was spacious and tidy—perfect for a nice snooze after a long day. The staff were super friendly, especially the chommie at reception who always had a smile. Brekkie was a lekker start to the day, with all the hot options hitting the spot!

Only bummer was the dim lighting in the room. made it a struggle to find my shoes in the morning.

This stay was during a short business trip, and I appreciated the comfortable room that had ample space and a beautiful interior. It was also great to access various amenities nearby, including Sandton City, which was a quick walk away. The breakfast was enjoyable on most days, especially the hot options. I did notice that the lighting in the room could have been better. it was a bit dim and made finding things difficult at times.

Our group vacation was fantastic! We loved the easy access to Sandton City and the stunning experience at the Barnyard shows. The hotel staff were super friendly and always attentive. The small kitchenette in our room allowed us to enjoy morning coffees and light meals! Plus, the pool area was a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

One downside was the dessert selection in room service. it didn't match the quality we expected from other locations. We hoped for better options.

Staying at Southern Sun Katherine Street was a fantastic experience! The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a cozy ambience. We enjoyed using the free uncapped WiFi and liked the en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, which made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast options were delightful and served hot, making each morning special.

Some areas seemed outdated.

It was just a decent option for getting around the area in Johannesburg with outstanding value. One evening, the staff went out of their way to help me with meal recommendations, and the food was great. Bring your own toiletries as the provided ones are basic at best.

I stayed in a 2 Bedroom Suite Non-Smoking for 3 nights, and it was really spacious, perfect for our family. The room was clean and had a nice cozy vibe. The staff provided great service, and breakfast was enjoyable every morning. Just a bit disappointed with the internet limit—could definitely use more than 500 MB. it would be nice if there were some elevator access for the upper floors to make it easier to move around. But overall, a comfy and pleasant stay!
